Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime optional
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas

Optional Toppings:

  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa or pico de gallo
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken

  • Dice the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.

Season the Chicken

  • Add olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for 5–10 minutes if time allows.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.

Warm the Tortillas

  • In a separate dry skillet or directly over the flame, warm each tortilla for about 30 seconds per side.

Assemble the Tacos

  • Place cooked chicken in the center of each tortilla. Top with your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, or salsa.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos and serve warm!
