Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp thyme dried or fresh
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: Lemon zest fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the Chicken: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sear chicken until golden and cooked through (6–7 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and heavy cream. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Combine: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
  • Garnish and Serve: Top with lemon zest and parsley. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
