Ingredients
  

For the dough:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

For the pizza:

  • 1 cup garlic butter ranch dressing, or creamy white sauce (choose one)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced dill pickles thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup crispy bacon bits optional
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill optional
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes optional, for a spicy kick

For garnish (optional):

  • Fresh dill
  • Drizzle of ranch dressing
  • Light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Prepare the dough:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  • Add the flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise for 30-45 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

Prepare the pizza base:

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If you're using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
  • Roll out the dough to your desired thickness on a lightly floured surface. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a preheated pizza stone.
  • If using store-bought dough, let it rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before rolling.

Add the sauce:

  • Spread a thin, even layer of garlic butter, ranch dressing, or creamy white sauce over the pizza dough using a spoon or a brush.

Add cheese and pickles:

  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the base.
  • Layer the thinly sliced dill pickles on top of the cheese, making sure every slice has a pickle bite.

Add optional toppings:

  • If desired, sprinkle crispy bacon bits, fresh dill, and red chili flakes over the pizza for added flavor and texture.

Bake the pizza:

  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy, and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Garnish and serve:

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh dill, a drizzle of ranch dressing, or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
