Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread the sliced strawberries evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries.
Dot the cream cheese cubes over the sugared strawberries.
Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the cream cheese and strawberries.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
Notes
For a citrusy twist, add a teaspoon of lemon zest to the strawberries. This cake is best served warm, but it also tastes great chilled!
